Our favourite brunch spot in White Rock, food is excellent, loads of tasty options, love “the wooden” and “the sweet and salty” meals and always friendly service. On Sundays there’s also the White Rock Farmers Market (April-October) located right in front of the restaurant.
Stopped by looking for some breakfast and the spoon did not disappoint. We arrived and the only spots available were at the bar. The service was great and the Foragers Benny with the added Chicken Apple Sausages was tasty and perfectly prepared. If I'm being honest I will probably order extra chicken so please sausage next time. The Mamosa was flat but we know that happens with already opened bubbles.
We went here for brunch last weekend, and the overall experience was a 10/10. I love that they have a heated, dog-friendly patio. Their specialty oat lattes are so delicious that the friend I was with almost ordered a second. The Wooden Benny was 10/10. Originally, I was going to order a second chive biscuit so each egg could have one, but I'm glad I didn't and now understand why they only give one, as one was more than enough. A few too many onions for my taste, but again, that's just my preference. The wedges are perfectly crispy & crunchy. My friend got the Tiramisu French Toast, and she inhaled it. The portions & flavour were perfect, and the prices were fair. I usually order a side of bacon when I get breakfast/brunch, and it usually only comes with 2-3 small, floppy pieces, but theirs came with 4 big strips of perfectly cooked double-smoked bacon. The only flaw is that they cannot serve alcohol on the patio, and we were not told this when we booked the reso, but that's not an issue for us, and it ended up saving us some money. Our server/service was great too. We will definitely be coming back here.
We celebrated Mother’s Day at wooden spoon our first time .My son ordered Mac and cheese and French toast tiramisu he loves it .mine was ribeye hash with chai latte ,my husband was pulled pork hash .service was great the food was fantastic so delicious .for sure we will visit again and we will try other menu.

Great brunch spot! Everything was so fresh and you could tell the quality of the ingredients. The place was busy with people constantly coming in but our waitress was very attentive and we never went long without being asked if everything was ok. Excellent chai latte!
We made a quick trip across the border for some sightseeing and stopped here for some brunch. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and Eva did an incredible job taking care of us. Absolutely loved the poutine and the dishes we got. If you’re considering stopping here, you won’t regret it.
Wooden Spoon is such a cozy and welcoming brunch spot—perfect for family gatherings or catching up with friends. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the menu offers a great variety of choices. I had the burger, and honestly, it might be the best I've had in Vancouver! The smashed patties were packed with flavor, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The ribeye hash was also delicious and hearty. Service was excellent—very friendly staff who kept our coffee cups full without needing to ask. Will definitely be back!
